Course Description:
This course is designed to provide everyone from the patrol officer and novice drug investigator to the seasoned narcotics detective with various methods, strategies, and tools to successfully investigate, prosecute, and convict drug traffickers in a variety of settings. From a routine traffic stop in uniform, to an extensive plain clothes or undercover investigation, students will be taught the tools to investigate drug traffickers in a wide range of settings on multiple levels. The course will cover investigations from receiving initial information all the way to prosecution and testifying in court.
Course Objectives:
The primary focus of this course is to provide officers and investigators with the basic knowledge and investigative strategies to allow them to conduct safe, effective, and ethical drug investigations. At the end of the course, students will have the basic framework to conduct complete drug investigations from start to finish.

Course Description:
This course is designed to teach law enforcement officers the history and transformation of illicit street drugs and prescription medication, the physical and psychological effects on the human body, as well as how to visually identify each of those drugs. The class will identify drug related paraphernalia, cutting agents, and the associated dangers. Students will also learn, not only the national drug trends, but the trends as they relate to the class area.
Course Objectives:
This course will equip the more novice officers with the knowledge to confidently identify the most common street drugs. In addition, students will be familiarized with the drug trends that have the largest impact on their area.

This specialized training course equips law enforcement officers with the knowledge, tools, and strategies necessary to identify, investigate, and respond effectively to cases involving Drug Endangered Children (DEC). As substance abuse continues to impact families across communities, officers are increasingly on the front lines of uncovering environments where children are exposed to drug use, manufacturing, trafficking, or neglect. Through a combination of lecture, case study, and scenario-based exercises, participants will learn to recognize signs of a drug endangered environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary partners (CPS, medical professionals, prosecutors) while maintaining investigative integrity. The course also emphasizes trauma-informed approaches and protocols that prioritize both criminal accountability and the well-being of vulnerable children.
Course Objectives:
This course will teach students to recognize the physical and behavioral indicators of a DEC environment, interviewing strategies for children and caregivers, understanding trauma and its impact on child victims as well as how to build successful cases for prosecution.

This course provides recruit officers, patrol officers, supervisors and FTOs with practical mental health skills and a clear understanding of the psychological ramifications of a law enforcement career. Participants will explore how cumulative stress, critical incidents, shift work, and organizational culture impact the brain, emotions, and behavior. The course emphasizes realistic, evidence-based strategies that officers can use to maintain resilience, recognize warning signs in themselves and others, and seek support without stigma.
Through scenario-based discussion and real-world examples, officers will learn how mental health directly affects officer safety, decision-making, and career longevity. This training is designed to strengthen officers both on and off duty by normalizing mental health awareness as a professional skill—not a weakness.
Course Objectives:
· Identify common mental health challenges associated with law enforcement careers
· Understand the cumulative effects of stress and trauma on performance and decision-making
· Recognize early warning signs of burnout, anxiety, depression, and PTSD in themselves and peers

· Understand available resources and peer-support options within the profession
